Account Settings

Your account settings let you personalize how GolemDrive looks and works, manage your security credentials, and control your notifications. Find everything at Account > Settings.

GolemDrive comes with 28 visual themes to choose from. There are dark themes, light themes, and colorful options in between. Pick whichever one is easiest on your eyes.

To change your theme:

  1. Go to Account > Settings
  2. Find the Theme section
  3. Click any theme to preview it — it applies instantly
  4. Your choice is saved automatically

GolemDrive is available in 34 languages. To switch:

  1. Go to Account > Settings
  2. Find the Language dropdown
  3. Select your preferred language

The entire dashboard — menus, buttons, messages, and help text — switches to your chosen language.

You can change the font used throughout the dashboard. If you find the default hard to read or just prefer something different, try a few options and see what works best for you.

  1. Go to Account > Settings
  2. Find the Font section
  3. Choose from the available fonts

To change your password:

  1. Go to Account > Settings
  2. Find the Password section
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter your new password and confirm it
  5. Save

Choose a strong password — ideally something long that you don’t use anywhere else. A password manager can help with this.

Your 12-word recovery phrase is the backup key to your account. If you ever lose your password, these 12 words are the only way to get back in.

To view your recovery phrase:

  1. Go to Account > Settings
  2. Find the Recovery Phrase section
  3. You may be asked to confirm your password
  4. Your 12 words will be displayed

Write them down on paper and keep them somewhere safe. For more details on why this matters and how to protect it, see Recovery Phrase.

Control what notifications you receive and how you receive them:

  1. Go to Account > Settings > Notifications
  2. Toggle individual notification types on or off
  3. Choose whether each type sends an email, an in-app alert, or both

For a full breakdown of notification types and how to manage them, see Notifications.
