How to Get Help
Stuck on something? No worries. Here are four ways to get help with GolemDrive.
1. Search these docs
Section titled “1. Search these docs”Use the search bar at the top of this page. Just type what you need — things like “how to share”, “forgot password”, or “upload not working” — and you’ll get instant results.
This is the fastest way to find answers. We’ve written guides for all of GolemDrive’s features, and search covers every page.
2. Ask the AI assistant
Section titled “2. Ask the AI assistant”GolemDrive has a built-in AI assistant that knows your account and can help with almost anything.
To use it:
- Log into GolemDrive
- Open the Chat page from the sidebar
- Type your question in plain English
The AI can answer questions, explain features, and even take actions on your behalf (with your permission). Here are some things you can ask:
- “How do I create a share link?”
- “Why can’t I upload?”
- “How much storage do I have left?”
- “Show me my recent downloads”
- “Create a share link for my project folder”
The assistant understands context, so feel free to ask follow-up questions in the same conversation.
3. Email support
Section titled “3. Email support”For anything the docs or AI can’t resolve, reach out to our team:
When you email, please include:
- The email address on your GolemDrive account
- A description of the issue
- Screenshots if possible
We typically respond within 1-2 business days.
4. Submit a support ticket
Section titled “4. Submit a support ticket”Go to our support portal to create a ticket. You’ll get a tracking number and email updates as we work on your issue.
Local development: The support portal runs at
http://localhost:50900.
Tips for faster help
Section titled “Tips for faster help”- Check the Troubleshooting page first. Your issue might have a quick fix already documented.
- Include screenshots when emailing support. A picture is worth a thousand words.
- Mention your browser and device. Let us know if you’re on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge — and whether you’re on desktop or mobile. This helps us reproduce the issue.
- Try a different browser. If something isn’t working, a quick test in another browser can tell you whether it’s a browser-specific problem.
