Partner Program Overview

GolemDrive’s Partner Program lets you earn real money from the files you share. Every time someone downloads one of your public files, you get paid. It’s that straightforward.

How you earn

There are four ways to make money as a GolemDrive partner:

• Download earnings (CPM) — Your primary income. You earn a rate per 1,000 downloads of your files. Rates vary by country and other factors. This is where the bulk of your money comes from.
• Tips — Your audience can send you one-time tips through GolemDrive. You keep 95% (5% platform fee).
• Creator subscriptions — Offer a subscription for exclusive content. Subscribers pay monthly and you keep 95% (5% platform fee).
• Referral commissions — Refer other creators to the Partner Program and earn 20% of their CPM earnings for 2 years.

Platform fee

GolemDrive takes a 5% platform fee on tips and creator subscriptions. That’s it. CPM download earnings have no additional platform fee — the rates you see are what you get.

Who can join

To be eligible for the Partner Program, you need at least one of the following:

• 2,000+ total downloads across all your shared files, OR
• 1 TB+ bandwidth served from your shared files

You don’t need a paid GolemDrive plan. Free accounts are eligible as long as they meet the download or bandwidth threshold.

How to apply

1. Check your eligibility — Open the Partner Dashboard and look at your eligibility status. If you meet the threshold, you’ll see an “Apply” button.
2. Submit your application — Fill out the application form with your details. You can optionally include a business name, website, and description of your content.
3. Admin review — A GolemDrive team member reviews your application. This typically takes 1-3 business days.
4. Email verification — Once approved, you’ll receive an email confirmation.
5. You’re active — Start earning immediately. Set up your payment method so you can get paid.

Your application status will be one of:

• Pending — Submitted, waiting for review
• Approved — You’re in the program and earning
• Rejected — Your application was declined (you’ll receive a reason)

Your Partner Dashboard

Once you’re approved, everything lives in the Partner Dashboard — a dedicated area separate from your regular GolemDrive dashboard. From there you can:

• Track your earnings in real time
• See which files are performing best
• View download breakdowns by country
• Manage your payment methods
• Request payouts
• Track referral commissions
• Download receipts for completed payouts

What earns money (and what doesn’t)

This is important, so let’s be clear:

You earn money from:

• Completed file downloads (someone actually downloads your file)

You do NOT earn money from:

• Page views or share link visits
• Folder browsing
• Social followers
• Someone viewing your creator profile
• Preview/streaming without downloading

Downloads are the only thing that counts. One download = one impression toward your CPM rate.
