Getting Paid
You’ve earned money — now here’s how to actually get it into your bank account.
Minimum payout threshold
Section titled “Minimum payout threshold”The default minimum payout is $50. You won’t be able to request a payout until your available balance reaches this amount.
You can customize this threshold anywhere from $1 to $10,000 in your Partner Dashboard settings. Some partners prefer to let earnings accumulate before requesting a payout; others want to cash out as soon as possible.
Setting up your payment method
Section titled “Setting up your payment method”Before you can receive money, you need a payment method on file. Go to Partner Dashboard > Payment Methods to add one.
Supported methods:
- Bank transfer — Direct deposit to your bank account
- Stripe Connect — Payments processed through Stripe
- PayPal — Transfer to your PayPal account
- Wise — International transfers via Wise
- Payoneer — Transfer to your Payoneer account
- Wire transfer — International wire transfer
- Cryptocurrency — Crypto payments
You can have multiple payment methods on file and choose which one to use when requesting a payout.
How to request a payout
Section titled “How to request a payout”- Open the Partner Dashboard
- Go to Payouts > Requests
- Click Request Payout
- Select your payment method
- Enter the amount (must be at least your minimum threshold)
- Submit
That’s it. Your request enters the processing pipeline.
Payout status flow
Section titled “Payout status flow”After you submit a request, it moves through these stages:
Pending -> Approved -> Processing -> CompletedHere’s what each status means:
| Status | What’s happening |
|---|---|
| Pending | Your request is under review by the payments team |
| Approved | Approved and will be processed within 24 hours |
| Processing | Payment is in progress with the payment processor |
| Completed | Money has been sent to your payment method |
Other statuses you might see:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| On Hold | Under investigation — the team will contact you within 24 hours |
| Failed | Payment failed (usually a payment method issue) |
| Rejected | Request was declined (you’ll see a reason) |
| Cancelled | You cancelled the request before it was processed |
If a payout fails, you can retry it up to 3 times. Check that your payment method details are correct, update them if needed, and resubmit.
Processing time
Section titled “Processing time”How quickly your payout is processed depends on your partner trust level:
| Trust level | What it means |
|---|---|
| Bronze | New partners. Standard review process. |
| Silver | Established track record. Faster processing. |
| Gold | Consistent high-quality partner. Priority processing. |
| Platinum | Top-tier partner. Fastest processing. |
All new partners start at Bronze. Your trust level increases as you build a track record of legitimate activity and successful payouts.
Payout schedule
Section titled “Payout schedule”You can set your preferred payout schedule in settings:
- Weekly — payouts processed every week
- Biweekly — every two weeks
- Monthly — once per month (the default)
- Quarterly — every three months
Regardless of schedule, payouts only happen when your balance meets the minimum threshold.
Receipts
Section titled “Receipts”After every completed payout, you can download a PDF receipt from the Partner Dashboard. Go to Payouts > History, find the completed payout, and click the download icon. Keep these for your records and tax purposes.
Clawback policy
Section titled “Clawback policy”GolemDrive reserves the right to reverse payouts within 30 days of completion if fraud is detected. This means:
- If downloads that generated your earnings are later identified as fraudulent (bot traffic, fake downloads, etc.), the corresponding earnings may be deducted from your balance.
- If a payout was already sent, the clawed-back amount will be deducted from future earnings.
- You’ll receive a notification explaining what happened.
This protects the integrity of the platform for all partners. If you’re generating legitimate downloads, you have nothing to worry about.
Tax considerations
Section titled “Tax considerations”Depending on your country, you may need to provide tax documentation. GolemDrive may request:
- W-9 (US partners)
- W-8BEN (non-US partners)
- Other tax forms as required by local regulations
You’ll be notified if any documentation is needed. Earnings reports in the Partner Dashboard can help with your own tax filing.
Quick checklist
Section titled “Quick checklist”Before requesting your first payout:
- Add a payment method in Payment Methods
- Verify your payment method (email, SMS, or micro-deposit verification depending on method type)
- Make sure your balance meets the minimum payout threshold ($50 default)
- Submit your request and wait for processing
