Managing Your Subscription

All subscription management happens in one place: Account > Subscription. From there you can change your plan, update your card, and download invoices.

Upgrading your plan

1. Go to Account > Subscription
2. You’ll see your current plan highlighted
3. Choose a higher plan and confirm
4. The upgrade takes effect immediately

You’ll be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period. For example, if you upgrade from Free to Professional halfway through the month, you’ll only pay for the remaining half.

Downgrading your plan

1. Go to Account > Subscription
2. Choose a lower plan and confirm
3. Your current plan stays active until the end of your billing period
4. The lower plan kicks in when the next period starts

You won’t lose access to anything right away. The downgrade is scheduled, not instant, so you keep your current plan’s limits until the billing period ends.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel your paid subscription, your account converts to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. Here’s what that means:

• You keep all your files
• If you have more than 50 GB stored, your files become read-only — you can still view and download them, but you can’t upload new files until you’re back under the 50 GB limit
• You can re-subscribe to a paid plan at any time to get full access back

We don’t delete your files when you downgrade. They stay right where they are.

Updating your payment method

1. Go to Account > Billing
2. Click Update payment method
3. Enter your new card details
4. Save

Your next charge will use the updated card. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Viewing invoices

1. Go to Account > Billing
2. You’ll see a list of past invoices with dates and amounts
3. Click any invoice to view or download it as a PDF

Invoices are available for every payment, including upgrades and renewals.

Payment security

GolemDrive uses Stripe to handle all payments. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe is PCI Level 1 certified, which is the highest level of payment security certification available.
