Tips & Subscriptions
Downloads aren’t the only way to earn on GolemDrive. Your fans and followers can also support you directly through tips and subscriptions.
Tips are one-time payments that anyone can send you. Think of it as a “thank you” from someone who appreciates your files.
- Tip amounts range from $1 to $100, or the sender can enter a custom amount
- Tips can come from logged-in GolemDrive users or guests (no account required to tip)
- There’s no limit on how many tips someone can send
- Each tip is a separate transaction — no recurring commitment
When someone visits your creator page or downloads one of your files, they’ll see the option to send a tip. It’s quick and easy for them, and the money goes straight to your earnings.
Subscriptions
Section titled “Subscriptions”Subscriptions let you offer a monthly plan to your followers. This is great if you regularly upload new content and want to build a steady income.
- You set the price for your subscription
- Subscribers pay monthly and can cancel anytime
- Subscribers can be logged-in users or guests
- You can offer perks to subscribers (like early access to new uploads or exclusive files)
Subscriptions give you predictable, recurring income instead of relying entirely on per-download earnings.
All payments go through Stripe
Section titled “All payments go through Stripe”Both tips and subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe, one of the most trusted payment platforms in the world. You don’t need to handle credit card numbers or worry about payment security — Stripe takes care of all of that.

Tracking tips and subscriptions
Section titled “Tracking tips and subscriptions”Everything shows up in your Creator Dashboard:
- A list of all tips received, with amounts and dates
- Active subscribers and their subscription amounts
- Total tip income and subscription income, broken out separately
- Trends over time so you can see if your support is growing
Tips for earning more tips (and subscriptions)
Section titled “Tips for earning more tips (and subscriptions)”- Be consistent. People subscribe when they expect regular new content.
- Say thank you. A simple note on your creator page thanking supporters goes a long way.
- Offer real value. The more useful or enjoyable your files are, the more people want to support you.
- Promote your page. Share your creator link on social media, in communities, and anywhere your audience hangs out.
