Browsing Creator Pages
Every GolemDrive creator has a public page where they share files with the world. You can browse these pages without an account — no sign-up required.
What a creator page looks like
Section titled “What a creator page looks like”Visit any creator’s page at golemdrive.com/u/username. Here’s what you’ll find:
Profile section
Section titled “Profile section”At the top of the page, you’ll see the creator’s profile:
- Avatar — their profile picture
- Display name — the name they go by on GolemDrive
- Verification badge — a blue checkmark next to their name means GolemDrive has verified this creator’s identity
- Bio — a short description the creator wrote about themselves
Below the profile, you’ll see quick stats:
- Follower count — how many people follow this creator
- Public files — how many files they’ve made available for download
Featured content
Section titled “Featured content”If the creator has hand-picked highlights, these appear in a prominent section near the top of the page. Featured content is the stuff the creator is most proud of or wants visitors to see first.
Public files
Section titled “Public files”Below the featured section, you’ll see a scrollable list of all the creator’s public files. Files load 20 at a time — scroll to the bottom and click Load More to see older uploads.
What you can do on a creator page
Section titled “What you can do on a creator page”Download files
Section titled “Download files”Click any file in the list to open its download page. From there, follow the normal download process. If the file is free and public, you can grab it immediately.
Follow the creator
Section titled “Follow the creator”Click the Follow button on their profile to subscribe to their updates. After you follow someone, their new uploads will appear in your social feed. You need a free GolemDrive account to follow creators.
Browse featured content
Section titled “Browse featured content”Scroll through the featured section to see what the creator considers their best work. These are often a good starting point if you’re visiting their page for the first time.
View their full portfolio
Section titled “View their full portfolio”Keep scrolling past the featured section to see everything they’ve published. Click Load More at the bottom to keep going.
Finding creators
Section titled “Finding creators”There are several ways to discover creators on GolemDrive.
Search
Section titled “Search”- Go to the Search page from the portal navigation.
- Type a creator’s name or username.
- Browse the results and click on any creator to visit their page.
Your feed
Section titled “Your feed”- Go to your Feed page (requires an account).
- As you interact with content, you’ll naturally discover new creators through the files that show up.
Followers and following lists
Section titled “Followers and following lists”- Visit any creator’s page.
- Check their Followers list to see who follows them — you might find other interesting creators there.
- Check their Following list to see who they follow — creators often follow other creators with similar content.
Share links
Section titled “Share links”If someone sends you a GolemDrive share link, the download page shows who uploaded the file. Click the creator’s name to visit their page.
Creator pages without an account
Section titled “Creator pages without an account”You can do almost everything on a creator page without logging in:
- View their profile, bio, and stats
- Browse their featured content and public files
- Download any free public file
The only things that require a free account are following the creator and interacting socially (tipping, commenting).
