Referral Program
Know someone who’d be a great GolemDrive partner? Refer them and earn a cut of their download earnings for the next two years.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Share your referral link — You get a unique referral code and link in your Partner Dashboard.
- They sign up as a partner — The person you referred joins the Partner Program through your link.
- They earn from downloads — When their files get downloaded, they earn CPM revenue as usual.
- You get 20% — For every dollar they earn from CPM downloads, you receive 20% as a referral commission.
This is a partner-to-partner referral program. You’re referring other creators who will share files and earn from downloads. It’s not a general user referral program.
The numbers

Example
Section titled “Example”You refer a creator who becomes a successful GolemDrive partner. In their first month, they earn $200 in CPM download revenue. Your referral commission for that month: $40 (20% of $200).
If they consistently earn $200/month for the full 2-year window, your total referral earnings from this one partner would be $960.
How commissions are calculated
Section titled “How commissions are calculated”Referral commissions are processed automatically as part of the earnings pipeline:
- Someone downloads your referred partner’s file
- Their CPM earnings are calculated (within ~1 minute of the download)
- The system checks if that partner was referred by you
- If yes, and the earning falls within the 2-year commission window, 20% is calculated and credited to your balance
- The commission appears in your Partner Dashboard within 1-3 minutes
Commissions are calculated on every individual earning event, not monthly totals. This means your referral earnings update in near real-time.
The 2-year window
Section titled “The 2-year window”Your commission window starts the day your referred partner signs up and lasts exactly 2 years from that date.
- Earnings generated by the referred partner within the 2-year window earn you commission
- Earnings generated after the window closes do not
- You’ll receive a notification 30 days before a referral’s commission window expires
After the 2-year window closes, the referral relationship still exists in your dashboard for historical tracking, but no new commissions are generated.
Getting your referral link
Section titled “Getting your referral link”- Open the Partner Dashboard
- Go to Referrals
- Your unique referral code and shareable link are displayed at the top
Share this link however you like — social media, email, your website, direct messages. When someone uses your link to sign up and later joins the Partner Program, the referral is attributed to you.
Tracking referrals
Section titled “Tracking referrals”In Partner Dashboard > Referrals, you can see:
- Total referrals (all time)
- Active referrals (currently within the 2-year window)
- Expired referrals (commission window closed)
- Total commission earned
- Commission earned per referral
- Days remaining on each active referral’s commission window
- No self-referrals. You cannot refer yourself or create multiple accounts to game the system.
- One referral per partner. A partner can only be referred by one person. The first valid referral link used at signup wins.
- Commissions are on CPM earnings only. Tips and subscription revenue earned by the referred partner do not generate referral commissions.
- Fraud disqualifies commissions. If a referral is flagged as fraudulent, commissions are forfeited and the referral is blocked.
- Standard program rules apply. Both you and your referred partner must comply with the Program Rules.
